- ICC Narrator/ST Volunteering
Have you ever been in the middle of a scene, needed an ST for a rules call,
and couldn’t find one? Ever had to wait for a narrator because they had a
line waiting already?
At ICC 2007, under 10% of the people in attendance volunteered as Narrators
or STs.
Ideally, for ICC this year, we will need 15% of the convention to volunteer
as Narrators or STs to properly cover all venues.
Narrating or STing is often a thankless job, but one of the most important
in the Camarilla, as without it we have no games.
So, we all know you plan to volunteer out of the goodness of your heart, and
your desire to help the Camarilla, but I feel inclined to point out some of
the other benefits of volunteering.
5 National Prestige PER hour you volunteer. That’s 5% of the National
Prestige you need for MC 12 every hour.
Now, you do lose out on XP for the game sessions you narrate; HOWEVER, you
will not lose out on the OVER CAP. When you work the full session, your XP
cap will be raised for the venue the same as if you played. Thus, you can
help the convention and still have the option for over cap that month.
Currently, we need Narrators for Forsaken, Lost, Awakening, Requiem and
Sabbat. We also need people to help with IC Checkin.
